Today me and my cousins went to Jorvik Viking Center. First we did a search for old Viking objects. Next we went on a ride through an old Viking village with plastic people.
After that we had a Viking coin printed for us. We looked at some old bones and human skeletons. We also saw a viking helmet. They were all very interesting. We listened to a talk about the bones.
When we looked at everything we bough two postcards from a gift shop.

I can remember going around the exhibits at the Viking centre in those little carriages (wagons?) when we visited just after it first opened in 1984. I thought it was a very clever museum, the way that they had recreated a whole viking village - complete with the smells and sounds!
