Casa Battlo is a very strange house. It has very few straight lines.
On top of the roof there is a dragon that Saint George killed. Also there is a castle turret next to the dragon's body.
Gaudi only renovated Casa Battlo. When he started to renovate the building it looked exactly like a rectangle, it looks very different now!
On the inside there was a whirlpool on the ceiling in one of the rooms and a mushroom seat in another.
But my favourite bit was the roof. You could see the cranes working on La Sagrada Familia (a church partly designed by Gaudi.) Casa Battlo was so much fun!
Before Casa Battlo, we went to Park Guell. It has a lizard sculpture.

It's a pity really that most buildings are so rectangular; perhaps after seeing Gaudi's work you'll be dissatisfied with the usual box shapes that we live in. Nature very seldom follows straight lines and maybe Gaudi was inspired by nature. Aren't you lucky to have experienced his work?
